How to Wall-Mount a TV Without Cracking the Plaster
Finding studs, picking the right VESA bracket, and the weight maths that keeps a 65-inch panel on the wall instead of the floor.

A wall mount is only as good as what it is bolted into. Get the fixing wrong and the bracket rating is irrelevant.
VESA first, then weight
Check two numbers before you buy: your TV's VESA pattern (the hole spacing on the back, e.g. 400×400mm) and its weight. Your mount must meet or exceed both with margin to spare.
Into studs or masonry — never plasterboard alone
On a stud wall, hit at least two studs with the supplied lag bolts. On brick or block, use the correct masonry anchors. Drywall plugs will not hold a moving TV, full stop.
Full-motion arms multiply the load. Rate up, not down.
